Wish Card

Not a wish list. A compass.

What you'd say you want and what your decisions reveal you want — they're often different things. The gap between them is where most confusion lives.

Stated priorities drift. Daily pressures crowd out what actually matters. You end up optimizing for the loudest signals rather than the right ones. By the time you notice, you're already months into a direction you didn't consciously choose.

The Wish Card is a structured reflective process that finds the second list — your real intentions and priorities — and turns them into something concrete you can navigate by.

Clarity is a one-time investment that earns interest every time a hard decision shows up.

When to Use the Wish Card

  • Starting a new year, quarter, or chapter
  • Facing a major life or career decision
  • Feeling disconnected from work or purpose
  • Recovering from burnout or a difficult period
  • Preparing for a strategic planning session
  • Seeking clarity before a coaching engagement — works well as a primer

What It Does

Clarify Intention

Cut through the noise of daily demands to identify what you actually want — not what you think you should want.

Reveal Priorities

Surface the hidden hierarchy of your values, including where stated priorities conflict with lived ones.

Align Actions

Bridge the gap between intention and behavior with concrete next steps and decision criteria you can apply forward.

Build a Practice

A way of returning to your core values when decisions feel overwhelming — not a one-time exercise, a repeatable compass.

How It Works

A single guided session online (video call). I walk you through a structured reflection — drawing out your core intentions, surfacing the patterns and conflicts in your stated priorities, and building the decision framework from what actually emerges.

You leave with all four artifacts below, formatted and ready to use. The session itself is typically 90 minutes.

What You Walk Away With

Your Personal Wish Card

A structured document capturing your core intentions and priorities — formatted to keep and return to.

Alignment Map

A visual representation of how your wishes connect to concrete actions in your actual life and work.

Decision Criteria

A framework for evaluating future choices against your stated priorities — built from what the session surfaced.

Reflection Practice Guide

Instructions for revisiting and updating your Wish Card over time so it stays live, not archived.

Common Questions

What exactly do I receive at the end?

Four documents: a Wish Card summarizing your core intentions and what success feels like; a Personal Decision Framework with your top five values and how to apply them; Alignment Indicators — specific signals that show you're on or off track; and a 90-day Practice Guide for keeping it usable. These are built during the session, not filled out after.

Is this a coaching session or more of a structured exercise?

Both. The session is a guided coaching conversation — not a form you fill out. I ask the questions, you generate the material. The output is a document designed to be returned to, not read once.

Does this replace ongoing coaching?

Not for most people. The Wish Card gives you a compass — clarity about what you want and how to make decisions. If you're in a period of active transition or recurring patterns, the deeper work happens in 1:1 sessions or The Reboot.

Does this work for practical goals, or is it more about big life vision?

Both — it depends on what you bring. Some people use it for a career crossroads. Others for a year-end intentions reset. Others for a specific decision they've been circling. The framework you leave with works across contexts, not just the one you came in with.
