Common Questions

What if I don't know what to bring?

"I don't know what to work on" is a valid starting point — something specific is usually being avoided. We find it together. Come with whatever is most present for you right now.

Is one session enough?

For one specific, contained thing — often yes. For sustained change across patterns that keep recurring — no. If a pattern shows up across sessions, we'd talk about what longer work looks like. That conversation comes after the session, not before.

Do you do a free trial session?

Not a sample session, no. What I offer is a 30-minute discovery call — a diagnostic conversation about where you are and whether coaching is the right fit. That's free, and there's no pitch at the end. The session itself is the work.

How is this different from therapy?

Therapy works backward — into history and what formed you. Coaching works forward — into where you're going and what's in the way. If you're working through unresolved past or clinical mental health, therapy is the right fit. If "I see it, I just can't move" — that's coaching.
